Day five– our only full day in Orlando without a game. Most of the day was used to get the players some much needed rest. The coaches granted us a few extra hours of sleep and set breakfast for 10:00am. We departed for Jostens Center at 11:30 for a light practice at noon. Following practice we returned to the Cornado Springs where the majority of the guys locked themselves in their room and napped.

To fill the free time in the afternoon the team went to the movie theater in Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney consists of great stores and restaurants such as House of Blues and Raglins. The unanimous choice for a movie was Four Christmases. Everyone found the movie extremely funny, especially Vince Vaughn. Owen Wignot’s favorite part of the movie was the scene when Denver and Dallas beat up Brad (Vince Vaughn) on Christmas morning. After the movie we went to eat at Bubba Lo’s Bodacious BBQ. Everyone on the team loved the the ribs and the corn bread. To cap off the night we had a film and personnel session on Oklahoma State.
