Siena’s Ronald Moore has been named MAAC Player of the Week. This is the first time he has taken home this honor.

Moore averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 assists and five rebounds in three games this past week for the Saints.  He began the week with an eye-opening effort at defending National Champion Kansas, scoring 18 points to go along with eight assists and just two turnovers in Siena’s narrow loss.  He then helped engineer two MAAC wins, first scoring 13 points and dishing out eight assists and grabbing six rebounds in a home win over Rider and then scoring 13 points while adding five rebounds, four assists and just one turnover in 36 minutes at Manhattan.  Moore made 49% of his field goals, 36% of his three-pointers and both of his free throws on the week.

Just an unbelievable week for Ronald Moore. He’s proving he’s the best PG in the MAAC.
