   Siena’s rpi is impressive, but St. Mary’s and Davidson are much more atractive matchups for Butler.

   completely agree. Had Siena won 2/3 at the Old Spice, we might have a shot at getting Butler, but I think the committee will no doubt look at us as a team that ‘had our chance’ to impress on the national stage this season.

   I would like to see Illinois State come play here. They are always good and would be a good return game next year.

   the Missouri Valley is no joke– N Iowa, Drake, Creighton, Bradley– all solid programs. I just don’t think playing Illinois State will give us much of a boost… yes they were undefeated halfway through their season, but they played a bunch of garbage teams in the non conference and are now losing to teams like (last place) Indiana state. I don’t mind the story line of a george mason / siena match up, plus the travel isn’t bad.
