LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Ryan Rossiter has been named MAAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career. Rossiter becomes the fourth different Saint to win the honor this season, joining Kenny Hasbrouck (11/24), Edwin Ubiles (12/8) and Ronald Moore (1/12). He keyed Siena’s 82-65 win over Niagara Saturday.
Rossiter had the top individual effort for the Saints all season in a convincing 82-65 win over Niagara Saturday. He made all seven of his field goals and all four of his free throws en route to a dominant 18-point, 12-rebound, five-block, three-assist, two-steal performance. The five blocks were the most in a game by a Saint in over eight years and the double-double marked the third of the season for the MAAC’s leader in field goal percentage.
Well deserved honor, Rossiter had a phenomenal game against Niagara [he shot 100% from the field and the free throw line] and continues to shine for Siena in just his sophomore year.
Congrats Ryan.
