Next week Quintrell Thomas will visit Siena according to Pete Iorizzo. It’s about time we start swiping from transfers from big name schools.
If he decided to transfer to Siena, he would be eligible for the 2010-2011 season and be a RS sophomore.

41 Is Retired

The Siena Saints announced last week that they will retire Kenny Hasbrouck’s number 41.
Well deserved Kenny. I’m suprised to see this happen so quickly. I understand Kenny’s career is epic, but just to see his number get retired 6 weeks after the season is over caught me off guard. I [...]

Tarps and Twitter

According to Fran McCaffery’s twitter account, (or at least someone claiming to be coach), Siena will be removing the tarps in the Times Union Center next year.
Update: I don’t think this is actually true, and I don’t think this is actually Fran’s twitter account.
Having recently been a student, I can say that most of my [...]

Update: Hasbrouck

Kenny was 6-14 from the field, 1-3 from 3pt land, snagged 6 boards, and had a couple of key steals in last night’s game.
Kenny’s squad, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, will play tomorrow at 9pm.
Nice job Kenny, keep it up.

As reported by Fox News…

Originally not headed to the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational prospects camp, Siena guard Kenny Hasbrouck will be there when the tournament begins tomorrow.
Hasbrouck initially was the first alternate, but someone dropped out and that put Hasbrouck on the list of 64 players in the tournament.
Portsmouth rosters are decided soley by NBA teams, [...]
