Surely we all remember the commotion last year when Ronald Moore didn’t get picked for any of the preseason All-MAAC teams.

There is a camp this year that believes he won’t make it over Ryan Thompson, but why shouldn’t he? Thompson wasn’t exclusively the PG at Rider until about half way through last season. You simply can’t argue with the way Moore preformed and at the level he preformed in March.

To many hoops fans across the nation, that victory represents the MAAC, that’s how they remember Siena in the 2009 tournament– Ronald. How could you possibly not have him as the first team PG?

I personally think we should expect to see a first team that looks like this; Ronald Moore, Tyrone Lewis, Ryan Thompson, Edwin Ubiles, and Bilal Benn.

Yeah, my scenario doesn’t include a second big man, but neither did the MAAC at the end of last season.
