Across from Tennessee State there appears to be a BBQ, TJ’s Bar BQ & Fish for the seafood/barbecue fans. Then down the road there is a Harper’s Restaurant closer to I-40 for some soul food. Sounds like a pretty unique southern experience
However if you take a trip north (approximately 11-15 minutes) there is a famous Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack which is highly praised. Another spot, Bolton’s Chicken & Fish, is about 10-15 minutes away as well. They serve their food hot and spicy and located in the heart of Nashville.

Myself and another alum will be at the game as well. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster, or at the box office I am told.
I have heard great things about this Hot Chicken in Nashville. Looking forward to it on Friday.
