Feel free to leave comments and discuss where you went if you are traveling down for these two games.
This one is a little easier because if you go to Philadelphia the number one thing to go to get is a Philly cheesesteak.
One of the top places to go is Geno’s Steaks. About 15 minutes away from the Palestra and open 24 hours a day, Geno’s is the place to head to after the game for all you Saints fans to get that authentic Philly cheesesteak.
Looking for a burger? Give a try to the Marathon Grill about a 10 minute drive away. Plus its location, in the center of Philly, will help the tourists as you explore during downtime when the Saints are not playing.
Looking for a diner? The South Street Diner is about 15-20 minutes away from the Palestra and has late night hours for those who are planning to spend a lot of late nights in Philadelphia.
About a 7 minute drive away is a local Mexican hot spot, Hot Tamales. Think a better, just as fast, Taco Bell.
Other than food, you have a ton of historic sights you can visit in Philadelphia. Most of the sites are free or relatively inexpensive (less than 5$).
