With Edwin Ubiles out due to a knee injury, Siena struggled to score and could not hold up against the Yellow Jackets in the second half in a 74-61 loss.

Clarence Jackson led the way, Siena’s only double digit scorer with 19 points, made 3 of Siena’s 4 three pointers in the game. Jackson (3 of 14) from three point range shot better than the rest of the Saints combined (1 for 14).

Jackson took 24 shots, making just 6. Jackson’s 24 shots were more than Ronald Moore,  Ryan Rossiter and Alex Franklin combined (who combined to go 6 for 22). Siena went 4 of 28 from the three point arc and 43.9% from inside the arc (18 of 41).

Owen Wingot struggled in his first start this season scoring 7 points on 2 of 8 shooting and fouling out in 24 total minutes.

Georgia Tech went on a 7-0 run in just over two minutes to take a 59-47 lead with 6:41 to go, capped by a Mfon Udofia three pointer. Udofia led the way for Georgia Tech with 26 points and made 5 of 8 three pointers.

Siena shot a 34.7% eFG%, their lowest of the season while Georgia Tech shot a 53.6% eFG%.
