The Saints will try for their first season sweep when they take on the Fairfield Stags at the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard on Super Bowl Sunday.

Siena will be going for its first road win since December 28th and their first road win in the MAAC this season. The Saints will also look to get O.D. Anosike on another streak of double-doubles as the Siena junior finished one point shy of his 18th straight double-double.

Senior Kyle Downey led all Siena scorers with 15 points on Friday night against the Peacocks. Downey led all Siena scorers with 19 in Siena’s 75-60 win over Fairfield at home earlier this season. Freshman Evan Hymes, who struggled against St. Peter’s with 14 points on just three made shots (3 for 15 Friday), has scored double-digits in each of the Saints last four games.

Derek Needham carried the Stags with a career-high 32 points last time out in a 77-69 win over Niagara at home. The Stags shoot third best from three point range in the MAAC at 36% and have won four of their last five games.

The Saints embark on the first of three straight road conference games that could determine their seeding for the MAAC Basketball Championships, Siena is currently 5-7 and with a good road trip could have an outside shot at a four or five seed.
