Siena struggled to defend the three point line in their 81-69 defeat at Hofstra in this year’s BracketBuster game.

Hofstra’s Matt Moore went 6 for 11 from three point land, scoring a game high 30 points. Hofstra made 11 of 23 three pointers for the game.

Siena shot 70% from inside the arc (28 for 40) but could not keep up with the Pride’s sharpshooting. O.D. Anosike scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Senior Kyle Downey had a good day, scoring 17 points and adding 9 assists and 6 rebounds. Evan Hymes struggled, scoring just 6 points. Hymes has been held to under 10 points in just six games this season. Freshman Rob Poole scored 10 points on 4 for 11 shooting from the bench. Poole added 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Hofstra made 16 of 20 free throws compared to the Saints making just 4 of 5.
