MAAC Trophy Case

With the decision to have the MAAC Championship at the Times Union Center through the 2010 it was thought it was time to bring the display into the 21st century,” MAAC Commissioner Richard J. Ensor noted. “This is the MAAC’s 14th championship hosted by the Times Union Center, and as the league’s repository of its [...]

$25,000

this pic, originally uploaded by sienasaintsblog. Brendan, a UMass alumni, won a contest earlier this year to shoot his shot. I’ve been trying to get some pics, but my Nikon Coolpix is better suited for taking pictures of waterfalls and hayfields than [...]

Bracketbuster Rumors: Sunday

George Mason lost yesterday, bumping them to third place in the CAA, and upping our chances of seeing Northeastern or VCU. I still think Northern Iowa would be our best draw. I am told that scheduling will not be decided on until tomorrow, though Siena cannot play on Friday night.

Preview: Siena vs. Buffalo

The Siena Saints and Buffalo Bulls have a lot in common. Each team’s personnel is so similar it’s nearly a rematch of two years ago. Both teams love to push the tempo, and both teams pride themselves on their defense. Buffalo comes into Albany having won three of their last four games (so do the [...]
